Update your B333351 BMW rear trailing arm bushing tool!

BMW and the aftermarket 3 series rear-trailing arm bushing makers have done away with the original style bushing. There is a new type of bushing with a slot that requires some new adapters added to our B333351 kit.

Baum tools now offers the B333351ADD kit to make the original B333351 kit work on these new bushings. Now also available is the complete B333351PLUS kit for taking out the old style bushings and installing the new style bushings.

Since we are the topic of BMW engines, let’s look at saving the M52TU, M54 and M56 aluminum 6 cylinders.

The problem is the customer cooks the motor. You know when they say, “I pulled over as soon as I saw light”.  Right, 10 miles later.  Or you get that “it only overheated a little”. 

So the thermostat for an example fails, thus causing a serious overheating condition, and “pops” the head gasket or worse, cracks the cylinder head.

With each evolution of BMW engines brings a new set of timing tools that are needed to properly put the engine in proper time.

Baum Tools announces its newest VW-Audi Timing kit. This new kit is for the 2.0 SFI / BPY engines. These models are known for experiencing excessive wear on the intake cam lobe that drives the high-pressure fuel pump. The wear limits maximum pump piston lift, causing fuel pressure fluctuations.
